Agrimaa Sammaan


India's invaluable heritage of music, drama and dance is one that we should cherish and develop. We must do so not only for ourselves but also as part of our contribution to the cultural heritage of mankind. It is the aim of this cultural society to preserve our traditions by offering them a platform.
 
Since its inception, the Agrimaa society of arts has been functioning as the apex body in the field of performing arts in the country, preserving and promoting the vast intangible heritage of India's diverse culture expressed in forms of music, dance and drama.
 
In furtherance of its objectives, Agrimaa society organizes classical dance festivals and collaborates with government and arts academies of different States and Union Territories of the Union of India, as also with major cultural institutions in the country.
 
AGRIMAA SOCIETY OF ARTS has instituted an award for young artists in the field of performing arts/ dancers/music/stage/photographers/videographers/choreographers/researchers (researcher in the field of performing arts only)/famous stories/differently abled persons/tribes and this award will be given with the name of AGRIMAA SAMMAN AWARD, which would be given annually to outstanding young artists.

The “AGRIMAA SAMMAN 2019” was presented to MR. SHEKAR NAIK for excellence in the field of Blind Cricket Team, awarded by Agrimaa Society of Arts, Delhi on 1st EQUAL – WE TOO, 2019 program on 3rd December 2019 held at Alliance Francaise, New Delhi.

The “AGRIMAA SAMMAN 2019” was presented to VASUNDHARA RATURI for excellence in the field of Hindustani Classical Vocal, awarded by Agrimaa Society of Arts, Delhi on 1st EQUAL – WE TOO, 2019 program on 3rd December 2019 held at Alliance Francaise, New Delhi.
