Agrimaa Society of Arts Delhi is coming up with a new brand “Dharmānanda – Feel the bliss” under AGRIMAA HEALTH WELLNESS PROGRAM.  That will be purely dedicated to Yoga and Ayurveda.

AGRIMAA Society of arts is a registered non-profit organization is dedicated to promote Indian Classical Dance, Music, Arts, Culture, Literature and Yoga & Ayurveda through performances, workshops, seminars and various other collaborative projects all over India. Society is instituted by well-known Filmmaker Beenu Rajpoot of Delhi. In the last one and half decades, she has made a niche in the field of films. Most of her films are researched based on Indian Art, Culture and literature with thought-provoking messages to the society.

“Dharmānanda - Feel the bliss" is named after her (Beenu’s) Guru Professor Dharmanand Sharma.

Professor Dharmananda Sharma is a renowned Indologist of India. He had an extensive, meritorious academic career and held various prestigious academic positions, including Chairperson of the Department of Philosophy at Panjab University, a current member of the ICPR, Founding Chairman of the Centre for Swami Vivekanand Studies, Panjab University, among many others. His published work includes six published books and more than 90 research papers in peer-reviewed journals. The list of his academic credentials is very long, but there is something much more in him than a successful academic career. He is a walking encyclopedia on the Sanskrit language, literature and philosophy. Trained in traditional Guru-Shisya parampara, Sharma Sir has imbibed this ancient wisdom so profoundly that even sitting near him can destroy your ignorance and make you wiser. It won't be an exaggeration to call him an 'Upanishadic Seer'.

His charisma, mellowness of his heart and kind heartedness are something everyone feels after meeting him even once. He was like a magnet to all the curious students of the university across the departments. It was a familiar scene in the university campus that a group of students surrounded Sharma Sir (his popular name among students) and listened to him intensively for hours on the profound wonders of life. Anyone who ever met him can sense a healing touch in his personality that makes people open their hearts effortlessly in his presence.

Born in a remote village of the holy mountains of Badrinath, this Himalayan Rishi imbibed the timeless spiritual energy of the Himalaya; still roamed around humbly among the masses as an ordinary man without claiming anything extra-ordinary. If there is a state of mind called enlightenment, this is what it is!
